If you do not wish your personal data to be used for commercial offers, you have the right to prohibit this without justification. You must submit your request for erasure in writing to the Data Controller, either by e-mail or post, to the contact details specified in the Imprint.

Protection of Personal Data of Minors and Persons with Limited Capacity to Act:

The internet website of LNV Balance Kft. and the content of its appearances are mostly not intended for minors under the age of 13. We do not process or collect personal data about children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental or guardian consent. Parents or guardians may request the release or erasure of data relating to the child. If the age becomes apparent to the Data Controller during the data processing or data management process, the data may be used to obtain parental consent.

The consent of the legal representative is required for the declaration of a minor who is legally incapacitated or has limited capacity to act, with the exception of service parts aiming at mass registration in everyday life and not requiring special consideration.

Cookie Management:

We use "cookies" (hereinafter referred to as "cookies") on our website. These are files that store information in your web browser. Your consent is required for this. We use "cookies" in accordance with Act C of 2003 on Electronic Communications, Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce services and information society services, and the regulations of the European Union. Websites operating within the countries of the European Union must request the consent of users for the use of "cookies" and their storage on the user's computer or other device.

1. "Cookie" Usage Policy

  • This policy applies to the "cookies" of the domain name website.

2. What are "Cookies"?

  • "Cookies" are small files containing letters and numbers. A "cookie" is a tool for information exchange between the web server and the user's browser. These data files are non-executable, do not contain spyware or viruses, and cannot access the content of users' hard drives.

3. What can "Cookies" be used for?

  • The information sent by "cookies" helps internet browsers to be more easily recognised, so users receive relevant and "personalised" content. Cookies make browsing more convenient, which includes meeting online data security needs and displaying relevant advertisements. With the help of "cookies", website operators can also create anonymous statistics about the habits of site visitors. Using these, the site editors can further personalise the appearance and content of the site.

4. What kind of "Cookies" may you encounter?

  • Websites can use three types of cookies:

    • Temporary "cookies" (Session Cookies): These remain on your device until you leave the website.

    • Permanent "cookies" (Persistent Cookies): These remain on your device for a longer period, depending on your web browser settings, or until you delete them.

    • Third-party "cookies": These are placed in your browser by a third party (e.g., Google Analytics). These are placed in your browser if the visited website uses services provided by the third party.

    Essential Session-ID "Cookies":

    • The use of these is essential for navigating the website and for the functioning of the website's features. Without accepting them, the website or certain parts of it may not appear, or may appear incorrectly.

    Analytical or Performance Monitoring "Cookies":

    • These help us distinguish website visitors and collect data on how visitors behave on the website. These "cookies" ensure, for example, that the website remembers your login in cases you requested. They do not collect information that can identify you; the data is stored anonymously and aggregated. (e.g., Google Analytics)

    Functional "Cookies":

    • The purpose of these cookies is to improve the user experience. They detect and store, for example, what device you used to open the website, or data you previously provided and requested to be stored: for example, automatic login, the chosen language, user changes you made to the text size, font, or other customisable elements of the website. These "cookies" do not track your activity on other websites. However, the information they collect may include personal identification data that you have shared.

    Targeted or Advertising "Cookies":

    • These help websites provide information (marketing) most relevant to your interests. Your express consent is required for this. These cookies collect detailed information about your browsing habits.

5. Do "Cookies" contain personal data?

  • Most "cookies" do not contain personal information, and users cannot be identified with their help. The stored data is necessary for more convenient browsing, and their storage is done in a way that unauthorised persons cannot access them.

6. Why are "Cookies" important on the internet?

  • The role of "cookies" is to make browsing more convenient for users, as they adjust advertisements and content for users based on browsing history. Disabling or limiting "cookies" may render some websites unusable. However, disabled or limited "cookies" do not mean that advertisements will not appear for users, only that the displayed advertisements and content will not be "personalised," i.e., they will not adapt to the user's needs and interests. Some examples of "cookie" usage:

    • Displaying content, services, and products tailored to the user's needs.

    • Offers designed according to the user's interests.

    • Remembering the login when requested by you (stay logged in).

    • Remembering child protection filters for internet content (family mode options, safe search functions).

    • Limiting the frequency of advertisements; i.e., numerical restriction of the display of an advertisement to the user on a given website.

    • Displaying advertisements relevant to the user.

    • Geotargeting

7. Security and Data Security Factors.

  • "Cookies" are not viruses or spyware. Since they are simple text files, they are non-executable and therefore cannot be considered programs. However, information may be concealed in the "cookie" with malicious intent, so they could function as spyware. For this reason, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs may continuously flag "cookies" for deletion.

  • Since the device used for internet browsing and the web servers are in constant communication, sending data back and forth, an attacker (hacker) can extract the information stored by the "cookies" if they intervene in the process. One reason for this could be, for example, improperly encrypted internet (WiFi) settings. Exploiting this vulnerability, data can be extracted from the "cookies".

8. Managing and Deleting "Cookies"

  • "Cookies" can be deleted or disabled in the browser programs used. Browsers, by default, allow the placement of "cookies". This can be disabled in the browser settings, and existing ones can be deleted. In addition, it can also be set for the browser to send a notification to the user when a "cookie" is sent to the device. However, it is important to emphasize that disabling or restricting these files impairs the browsing experience, and errors may also occur in the functionality of the website.

    • The settings options are usually found in the "Options" or "Settings" menu of the browser. Each web browser is different, so for the correct settings, please use your browser's "Help" menu.
